Last week saw the first of our Awards Gala Presentation Dinners take place as we got together with over three hundred guests in the Atrium at Flemington for our Victorian Regional Achievement & Community Awards Gala Dinner. The night was a huge success with Karl Ljinders from PRIME7 back to host the event and Paris Marie performing the opening National Anthem. We recognised numerous Award Nominees, Semi Finalists and Finalists, and were ecstatic to present Category Awards to nine incredible winners.
Brendan Grenfell, Regional Executive from Bank of Melbourne, presented Goulburn Murray Valley Regional Fruit Fly Project with the overall prize, winning the Bank of Melbourne Regional Achiever of the Year Award for their tireless efforts to help educate their community on how to prevent the spread of the fruit fly. This week the Awards Australia team will head across to Perth to celebrate our regional Western Australians at the WA Regional Achievement & Community Awards Gala Dinner. With over 400 guests attending, including Award nominees, our partners and local Members of Parliament, we’re looking forwards to an amazing evening at the Hyatt Regency on Friday night.
