Awards Australia Community Group Award
The Community Group Award recognises groups that make a significant contribution to their community. These community groups share a strong sense of team spirit, and play a vital role in enhancing the social, economic, commercial and environmental prosperity of their region. 

Whether it be working together on an event, restoration project, providing a service or program, it is important to recognise and encourage these groups, as their efforts help to make our communities stronger and more vibrant.

GOTAFE Community Education Award
GOTAFE is the largest vocational education provider in regional Victoria. An intrinsic part of our local communities, we serve 11 government areas and a population of over 240,00 people. GOTAFE is passionate about supporting the growth and development of our regional communities to enable positive learning journeys. 

The GOTAFE Community Education Award acknowledges the valuable contributions that individuals, communities, and businesses make throughout regional and rural Victoria. These initiatives, led by community groups, play a vital role in encouraging the social, economic, commercial, and environmental prosperity of our region. Whether it be working together on an event, providing a service, or simply connecting people, these initiatives are central to promoting learning and enhancing the way people live and interact in their community.

To be nominated for this award please answer the following questions:

Prime Super Employer Excellence in Aged Care Award
With an ageing population, aged care facilities and the services they provide are an important part of the lives of an ever increasing number of people. The Employer Excellence in Aged Care Award recognises and acknowledges businesses, organisations and not for profits who have a strong focus on staff engagement, safety and well being, training and providing staff with higher education learning opportunities and development. The Award will also recognise the provision of quality services for clients, patients and residents. 
The Award acknowledges aged care facilities, organisations, not for profits and businesses making a positive difference in the industry in Victoria.

  • Describe what makes you an excellent employer: e.g. flexible working conditions, staff training, etc.

Regional Development Victoria Business Achievement Award
In rural and regional areas successful businesses are making important economic contributions. Creative business and commercial ventures provide opportunities for regional growth, productivity, leadership, training and employment. Businesses are continuing to realise their corporate vision and mission in areas such as product development, advanced manufacturing and construction, agriculture, primary industry, e-commerce, wholesaling, exporting, retailing, tourism and other professional services. The Regional Development Victoria Business Achievement Award will acknowledge and highlight the continued success and achievements of business leaders and businesses.

Regional Development Victoria Leadership and Innovation Award
Tenacity, dedication, selflessness, leadership and innovative thinking are the key qualities of those amazing individuals who are the “driving force” in their community. These individuals are at the forefront of community contribution in their field of endeavour. 

They may have overcome significant difficulty, adversity or hardship to achieve excellent outcomes and raise pride in the community and our state. They may have pioneered significant changes in their community, business or organisation that have altered the way people think and perform for the better.  The Regional Development Victoria Leadership and Innovation Award will acknowledge role models who through their leadership, innovation and driving force pave the way for others to follow.

Ricoh Australia Customer Service Award
Businesses and organisations spend a great deal of time and money trying to win and retain customers. The highly demanding discipline of customer service is arguably the critical success factor for many organisations and businesses. 

The Ricoh Australia Customer Service Award will recognise individuals that provide customer service excellence, best practice and innovative thinking in customer service. It may also be someone who is implementing customer service strategies which are integral to business success. The nominees will have a positive impact on their organisation and demonstrate dedication to product knowledge and commitment to the customer.

Southside Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Community Hero Award
The Southside Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Community Hero Award acknowledges those individuals making a significant contribution at a local level in regional and rural Victoria. There are many selfless people who, through their actions, have positively impacted the lives of others and their community. 
 
The Community Hero Award acknowledges those everyday people doing extraordinary things within their local communities. Community heroes may be involved in (but not restricted to) art, health, business, sports, volunteering, the environment, aged care, or education. They may have displayed courage in overcoming a personal adversity or demonstrated leadership in trying times.
