The Best’s Wines Tourism and Hospitality Award will honour Victorians who are leaders in their field, doing their part to showcase Victoria as a destination of choice or providing exceptional guest experiences through gracious hospitality.

Best’s Wines believes in bringing the warmth of genuine service to everything that they do. This award will celebrate those who provide personable, meaningful experiences to others or develop new initiatives for tourists and visitors to enjoy what Victoria has to offer. It could be part of an existing business, a new venture, a program to improve inclusion and accessibility, or an innovative new approach to travelling, dining or accommodation. Victoria has so many destinations, tours, events and festivals, so this award is open to any person contributing to the travel, tourism or hospitality industries and will applaud contributions demonstrating passion, innovation and their commitment to the industry.

Awards Australia Charitable Foundation Mental Health and Wellbeing Award

Mental health and wellbeing is a major challenge in today’s society. The Awards Australia Charitable Foundation applauds those making a difference by providing support and services to help those experiencing the devastating effects of mental health illness and poor wellbeing.


The Mental Health and Wellbeing Award acknowledges groups and individuals working to reduce the impact of mental health and/or improve emotional and physical wellbeing.


There are many who passionately and selflessly provide support, guidance, encouragement, assistance or professional services within the mental health & wellbeing sector. The Mental Health and Wellbeing Award acknowledges the excellence in programs, projects or initiatives that have focused their efforts within mental health and wellbeing promotion, prevention and/or early intervention. These individuals, communities or organisations create a sense of community spirit, which plays a vital role in enhancing our quality of life.


This category is accepting Nominees statewide across Victoria

Coolabah Turf Connecting Communities Award

The Coolabah Turf team feel an infectious, energetic and passionate love for life and so the Connecting Communities Award will celebrate those making that philosophy a reality in their community.

 

The Coolabah Turf Connecting Communities Award will recognise grass-roots, ‘real life’ initiatives (led by local community groups or not-for-profits) that demonstrate genuine involvement, long-term value and encourage the health and wellbeing of their community members.  These initiatives may meet a specific need or simply be a ‘fun’ way to celebrate being part of a community, fostering a strong sense of community spirit, which plays a vital role in enhancing the way people connect in their community.

Fonterra Agriculture Award
The Fonterra Agriculture Award applauds our unsung heroes and high achievers working on land or marine farming who work tirelessly to provide us with food and drink. Our highly diversified plant and animal industries, including field crops, horticulture, forestry, livestock and livestock products, make agriculture the back bone of our communities.
Nominees for this category can be involved in any stage of agriculture including production, education, research, development, innovation, natural resource management, trade and export. The Agriculture Award presents an opportunity for us to acknowledge those who play a part in shaping our agricultural community.

Nectre Regional Service Award

Regional Victoria is a vibrant and exciting place that is constantly changing. Regional Victorians play an integral role in helping their regional communities to achieve this through volunteering, leadership, sport, community activities or in their career or through their services or products. They're helping to ensure sustainability, community and economic development, and to promote their community, town or region.

 

Nominees will have shown excellence in their endeavours and raised the profile of their community, initiatives or career. The Nectre Regional Service Award aims to recognise our regional and rural achievers and community contributors, acknowledging those who are helping to reshape and inspire their local communities.

Tenacity, dedication, selflessness, leadership and innovative thinking are the key qualities of those amazing individuals who are the “driving force” in their community. These individuals are at the forefront of community contribution in their field of endeavour. 

They may have overcome significant difficulty, adversity or hardship to achieve excellent outcomes and raise pride in the community and our state. They may have pioneered significant changes in their community, business or organisation that have altered the way people think and perform for the better.  The Regional Development Victoria Leadership and Innovation Award will acknowledge role models who through their leadership, innovation and driving force pave the way for others to follow.
